Nancy Farkas crafts smart characters in a well-articulated story - all set against the rich landscape of Spain. I lost myself in Annie's memories, and was pulled through time and space to live vicariously in her romantic adventures and her literary travelogue. I might not agree with some of Annie's decisions, but with each chapter - you will most certainly become her friend and want to walk along with her long after you turn the last page. Fabulous read!
